Allied and Axis barracks and casemates throughout the day.  Veterans will also be in attendance in  the Map Room for round table discussions.  Two Re-enactor Tacticals, late afternoon in the High Battery wooded area and a night tactical of the entire property.  With the event being held inDecember, it gives you a great opportunity to have a unit Christmas get together.

Also provided as a part of your registration fee is a Continental breakfast in the morning along
with lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast Sunday morning.

St. Vith

The German armored columns cutting through the American lines on the Ghost Front knew they had to
capture St. Vith.  It was obvious to the German Commanders on the ground that St. Vith had to be
taken for three reasons: to insure the complete isolation of the American troops trapped on the
ridges of the Schnee Eifel, to cover the German supply lines to the north and south, and to
provide a route for reinforcements by using the St. Vith Road net. The Germans attack began on
December 16th, 1944.  Join the 78th Infantry Living History Association as we recreate this epic
engagement that started what would become known as the Battle of the Bulge.

Experience the history of the Fort, 14 restored historic structures constructed from 1778 to 1875,
including Enlisted Barracks, Officer’s Quarters, Blacksmith Shop and underground casemates.  Fort
Mifflin is situated on the beautiful banks of the Delaware River.
